HSBC & LBC FORGE PARTNERSHIP

One of the world’s prestigious banks, The HONG KONG SHANGHAI BANKING CORPORATION LTD., enrolled in the LBC BILLS XPRESS Payment System. The partnership was formally consummated at the SCHWARZWALDER Restaurant in Makati City.

Representing LBC during the MOA signing were Chief Finance Officer Mr. Noel B. Atintar and Chief Development Officer Ms. Janet T. Ong. HSBC was represented Mr. Martin C. Cook SVP and Head of Personal Financial Services and Ms. Claire Ann T. Yap SVP PFS Development Officer and Support. Also present were BDD & CAD Head- Achi Reyes together with his team composed of Chin Morano, Roehl Falcon, Jojo Miciano and Ed Ibazeta who worked hand in hand to get hold of this leading company.

This shows HSBC’s confidence in LBC, tapping a Non- Bank institution, to be a collection facility to service their 450,000 credit card holders as well as personal loan payees. Now HSBC Credit Card Holders and Personal Loan Clients can now pay their monthly bills and loan premiums at any of LBC’s over 630 branches nationwide.

With this partnership we can expect more exciting business opportunities for both companies in the coming months ahead.
