Why You Should Use Cash On Delivery
With the boom of e commerce and social selling, LBC has seen the rise in need for additional payment avenues. As the largest logistics company in the Philippines, we want to make things even more convenient for customers everywhere in the country to buy products they want. This is why we launched the Cash on Delivery (COD) service which makes it easier for buyers and sellers alike to transact online
How does COD via LBC work?
COD makes it safer for buyers and sellers alike by getting rid of the age old kaliwaan system that a lot of online sellers use when transacting with their online buyers. Instead of having to meet up with a stranger in public, LBC will handle the transaction for you.
How to use LBC s COD Service?
When a buyer purchases a package online, he or she picks up the item from their chosen LBC branch. Buyers and sellers can use any of LBC s 1,500+ branches nationwide to serve as their pickup point and payment center.
Is Cash on Delivery safe?
Cash on delivery is safe to use for both buyers and sellers in the Philippines.

LBC saw how quickly the e commerce and social selling industries were growing in the Philippines and wanted to provide Filipinos with faster, safer, and more reliable ways of transacting with each other.

For buyers, COD is a good option because they only need to pay for the item once it is securely in their hands. Theres no need to worry about damaged goods or wrong deliveries. In the event that the wrong package has been sent for pick up to our LBC branch, the buyer simply has to refuse to pay for or accept the item.

COD reduces the risks involved by allowing buyers to only pay for the item after it has been delivered and after they have inspected it.

Apart from this, COD is also useful for Filipinos who would rather pay in cash. The Philippines, despite the major strides in digitization, is still mainly a cash-based country. Many Filipinos are still hesitant to pay using credit cards or do not have access to one or any other form of electronic payment.

COD gives buyers another option to pay for their goods without having to shell out the money upfront.
Who does Cash on Delivery?
Our Cash on Delivery service was made with social sellers and e commerce business operators in mind. COD is best for stay at home moms who are operating a side business, budding entrepreneurs, working students with online selling shops, microbusinesses, and even just regular one off sellers who want a more convenient way of transacting with their buyers.
How does COD work for online sellers?
LBC has made it as easy as possible for online sellers to avail of our COD service. Sellers can also schedule an LBC Rider Pickup using the LBC Online portal in 3 easy steps! The LBC Rider Pickup service allows users to send more than one package at a time, making it convenient for online sellers and micro entrepreneurs who send out packages in bulk.

You can also head to any LBC branch to avail of our COD service. To make things easier for you, LBC allows you to process your booking before heading to a branch so you can experience faster drop offs.

Step 1. Head to any LBC Express branch to drop off your package. Fill out the form which includes details like the complete names of the sender and receiver, the address and contact details of your receiver. If you will be opting for the Bank Deposit payment scheme, you will also need to provide us with your bank details, account name, and the account number where we will be depositing the money to. If you don t have a bank account, don t worry! You may also opt for the Branch Collect payment scheme.

Please note that all shipping fees need to be upon transaction. Our LBC Cash on Delivery charges varies depending on the size of your package and destination.

You can also head to the LBC Online page to have your packages picked up from your home, office, or warehouse.

Step 2. Wait for our SMS confirming that your package has been safely delivered and paid for.

Step 3. Get your payment. It usually takes 2 to 3 working days before you will receive your payment. If you have chosen the Branch Collect option, we will send a remittance reference number along with the total amount collected to you via SMS. Just present this number to any LBC Express branch along with a valid ID to collect your payment.
Why Cash on Delivery is important for your e commerce business?
The launch of LBC s COD service is good news for e commerce and social sellers everywhere. This means businesses can safely and conveniently send out more packages without having to worry about dubious buyers who fail to pay for their packages.

It is also much faster for sellers to ship out packages now as they can easily find an LBC branch near them that can serve as the drop off and pickup point for their packages. If they do not have the time to head to an LBC branch, they can also conveniently schedule a pickup using their LBC Online account.

COD makes growing and expanding online businesses easier and faster than ever. Now sellers can focus on more important aspects of their business while LBC takes care of the logistics and money collection for them.
What is LBC s COD rates for 2021?
LBC computes your cash on delivery rates based on your package s weight and destination. Here are our special introductory COD rates for 2021.
